- Danai obtained his bachelor in design from the Willem de Kooning Academie in Rotterdam the Netherlands. In 2000 he started his own company: dailydanai.com. Clients were primarily editorial publishers such as: Metro-niews, Adformatie, Management Team, Federatie Nederlandse Vakbeweging, Vereniging Eigen Huis, Bouw-IQ, Computable, Schoolbestuur, Medisch Contact and PC-magazine. In 2002 he obtained his first degree teacher status at the Hogeschool Rotterdam. From 2002 till 2005 he worked as a teacher and coordinator of the cultural program at Roncalli Mavo Rotterdam. From 2005 till 2007 he studied painting at the Koninklijke Academie voor Schone Kunsten in Antwerp. In 2008 he started creating ‘visual movie reviews'. His illustrations were used by the International Film Festival Rotterdam, the Leids International Film Festival. Since 2010 his posters have been on display at Cinerama Rotterdam. In 2003 he started teaching at the WdKA. From 2007 till 2012 he developed a minor program painting. In 2006 he became course director of the department of Illustration. In 2014 he obtained his Masters in Education at the HR.
